It has been a while
Hello Friends and Family,
It has been a while, has it not? For the past couple of years, I have been working in the cooking industry to expand my knowledge on nutrition, dietary restrictions and the value of integrating cultural food in mainstream practices. While I was away, I got my Nutritional Diet Certificate from Algonquin College in 2021. This is in addition to my Hospitality and Culinary management diploma from Algonquin College in 2016. Merging theory to practice, I also worked in service industries to apply my knowledge and skills as a chef. I experienced another culture by being a line cook in Restaurant La Sagouine, Boutouché NB. As well, through the pandemic, I worked in both a Retirement home and Long-term care home as a chef.
However, my passion to own my business remained. We have also gotten inquiries about our catering and restaurant service, which is why I decided to reignite the passion and reopen OB&O’s.
