OB&O’s African Caribbean Restaurant has been a local, family-owned business since 2008.
Originally known as FoodCraft restaurant in Nigeria, Owner, Funmi Obando always had a dream to share Nigerian food specialties with the world. After moving to Canada, Funmi expanded to a restaurant and grocery store Mugena Caribbean Restaurant & Grocery.
Then inspired to make a name for herself, Fumi’s African Caribbean restaurant on Rochester was created, offering catering and delivery services in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. This allowed Fumi’s Restaurant and catering service to participate at several local events including African Cultural Festivals, Caribanna, Canada Day celebrations and BluesFest and worked as a cook in Restaurant la Sagouine NB.

Now, OB&O’s African Caribbean Restaurant is reopening to serve your needs with a promise of flavour, excellence and quality. With every delicious bite, you are guaranteed to be transported to African culture and Caribbean flavour near to Funmi’s heart.
